Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire for the welcome party, black tie for the ceremony and reception.
Please note that the cocktail hour and reception will take place outdoors at Lowndes Grove so we recommend choosing thicker heels for your comfort.
Is transportation provided?
Yes! After the ceremony, shuttles will transport guests from the French Huguenot Church to Lowndes Grove, and return shuttles will run at the end of the evening to the hotel blocks.
Can I bring a guest?
If your invitation includes a guest’s name, then yes! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you just bring your lovely self.
Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration.
We hope you enjoy the night off!
Is parking available?
The French Huguenot Church does not have a parking lot.
The Cumberland Parking Garage, at Cumberland and Church Street, is two blocks away and is the closest option. Walking and rideshare are also good options.
Parking at Lowndes Grove is very limited, so we recommend taking the shuttle from the ceremony
or using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft.
Shuttles will also run at the end of the evening back to the hotel blocks and the after-party.
What time should I arrive?
For the welcome party, please plan to arrive beginning at 8:00 PM.
For the ceremony, please arrive at the church at least 20 minutes before it begins (by 5:10 PM or earlier).
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony
and leave the photos to our wonderful photographers.
Feel free to take as many as you’d like during the rest of the weekend!
